"Hi, Jason!" That sounds like an introduction you might hear at a support group. Well, the fact is, I'm addicted to the medium of motion picture. If there's a support group for that, I bet they're having a ball! I'm used to calling it "film", and I think most people still refer to it as such. But the fact is, film as a medium is all but dead. This world is now digital. But MOTION PICTURES are still what we work with. |
I was 10 years old when I really fell in love with movies.
My older sisters had rented Dead Poets Society and after the movie finished, I went to my room and cried like a baby. The ending hit me so hard. It was then that my passion for cinema as a storytelling medium really blossomed. I've been involved in various forms of video production since 1998. And decided to start my own company, Starhaven Films, in 2014. doing small business and corporate films in Southeastern South Dakota and the surrounding area. |
